The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest of a person impersonating a law enforcement officer.
Thomason Michael Barrett Hand, 17, from Travelers Rest has been arrested with four counts of impersonating a Law Enforcement Officer. The incidents occurred on Oct. 27, according to the report.
Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office have arrested 57 year-old, William Warren Smith, Jr. for Lewd Act on a Child under 14 years of age and Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor under 11 years of age.
Smith's home address is in Taylors.
Deputies from the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office are investigating an armed robbery at “Super Mobile”, located at 3217 Wade Hampton Blvd.
Deputies responded after receiving a call at approximately 3:30 p.m., regarding a male suspect, who entered the store, armed with a long gun and wearing a mask, demanded cell phones from the store. The suspect then fled the store with an undisclosed amount of merchandise. There were no reported injuries as a result of the incident.
Deputies from the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office have arrested 29 year-old, Ruben Russell Ruiz on multiple charges including armed robbery and grand larceny of an automobile after leading deputies and troopers with the Highway Patrol on a chase, Sunday afternoon.
Deputies first responded to the Spinx, at 3815 White Horse Road after receiving a report that Ruiz had stolen a Chevy Silverado. During the course of investigation deputies learned that before stealing the Silverado, Ruiz had dropped off a minivan, which was reported stolen during a carjacking earlier Sunday morning, at a QT in Greer. That vehicle was recovered.
