18-month-old cited for illegal parking, fined 2 cookies

Tanner Stevens' convertible has a ticket taped to the steering wheel Thursday night. The fine – 2 cookies payable to the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce.

 



Tanner Stevens, 18 months, was fined two cookies for parking his convertible on the sidewalk at the entrance to the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce. Tanner, son of Scott and Lindsay Stevens, is often seen riding downtown in one of his vehicles.

The Stevenses visited Wild Ace Pizza for dinner Thursday night and Tanner parked in front of the chamber’s office, at 111 Trade Street, since it was after business hours.

Tanner was cited by President/CEO Mark Owens of the Greer Chamber of Commerce.

Tanner was unavailable for comment.

Owens’ ticket read:

Parking Ticket

Due to unlawful parking on front ledge, Tanner Stevens shall pay a fine of 2 cookies to the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce.
