The City of Greer is hiring 34 poll workers including managers for the Tuesday, Nov. 4 referendum on Sunday retail alcohol sales. Positions are available in both Spartanburg and Greenville counties.
All workers will earn $120 a day. Polls are open 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.
Workers ages 18-older must be registered to vote in their county of residence. High school students ages 16-17 will also be considered for the positions.
No special skills are required but all applicants must attend a one-hour training session at Greer City Hall. Training will be held after 5 p.m. to permit students and those working to attend.
