The six finalists – 4 boys and 2 girls -  for Greer Idol Teen have been announced with beach and 90’s music the genre. The contestants will sing their selection at its full length.

The final Tunes in the Park will be held at the Greer City Park Amphitheater with Idol Teen at 6 p.m. and Greer Idol at 8 p.m. Encore will perform between the Idol competitions.

Winner of Idol Teen earns $500.

Gracie Bryant

Sang: “Hit Me with Your Best Shot” by Pat Benator

Comments:

• “Song was in a good range for you and you let a little bit of your country twang out with that. You have a very pretty voice.”

• “I like the way you got the audience into it. When you’re stretching your notes out, don’t let them get pitchy.”

“You had stage presence. I thought it was fabulous. I wanted you to sing more for us.”

“I know how difficult it is to play (an instrument) and sing.”

“You have an amazing voice. I’m on the fence. If you play (an instrument) you must know music enough well enough to sing.”

“It boils down to you’ve got to know the song by heart to play keyboards. It’s more of a challenge.”
