"I knew the moment we met that I was going to marry Colt," Lindsey said.
Greer native Colt Davis moved to Lexington, KY as a master hair stylist and college pastor of a local church just a few years ago, and unexpectedly met the love of his life the first day he got there.
Lindseu and Colt hit it off immediately and began dating just months later.
After a year in Kentucky, the couple saw an opportunity to come to Greer and open the historic White House Salon in downtown Greer. It was a huge step of faith for Lindsey, having never lived away from home. She moved several states away from her family and everything she knew with only three small boxes carrying all her belongings.
Colt's background in music led him to take the stage at Downtown Lexington's hottest venue on Feb. 1. In between acts, Colt, with guitar in hand, surprised Lindsey with a song he wrote for her and a marriage proposal.
The audience roared with applause as Lindsey made her way up to the stage and said, "Yes, Yes, Yes!"
The couple had a fairy tale wedding outside in the mountains of Campobello.
