Lauren Cabaniss, Miss Greater Greer, will host a fundraiser at Pizza Inn Thursday in Greer to benefit the Children's Miracle Network. Cabaniss is modeling clothes she will wear during the Miss South Carolina pageant. Sydney Sill, Miss Greater Greer Teen, will also appear at the benefit.
Tickets are $10 and include a buffet meal and drink. Pizza Inn owner Don Coggins and Joey Poole have pledged 30 percent of the ticket sales to CMN. The all-day event allows participants to use their tickets for lunch or dinner.
Cabaniss and Miss Greater Greer Teen, Sydney Sill, will be at the restaurant from 5-9 p.m. to sign autographs and take photographs.
Two of Cabaniss’ cousins were injured in the train wreck in Cleveland Park. Both were beneficiaries of the CMN and are doing well.
