Purchasing Big Thursday auction items is a great way to support Greer Community Ministries (GCM) on the day of the event.
Local businesses and supporters have donated a variety of items that will be available during both the silent auction, 8 a.m.-6:30 p.m. and live auction, 7-9 p.m.
Every $4 spent provides a meal to one of the 300 Meals on Wheels clients the ministry serves Monday through Friday.
Big Thursday is Nov. 3 at Fairview Baptist Church, 1300 Locust Hill Road, Greer.
Along with the auctions, the event includes a barbecue lunch, the Greer Lions Club hot dog supper, and a crafts bazaar.
