Benton Blount was eliminated in the final round of “America’s Got Talent” Wednesday night. The finals were held at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
Paul Zerdin, ventriloquist, is this year's winner. He won the $1 million and performance in Las Vegas that went with the win.
Blount, who lives in Greenville, was the only solo singer in the 10-act finals. The stay at home dad, Blount sang a duet with Rachel Platten, “Fight Song”, during the finale.
The top five featured one vocal finalist, the Craig Lewis Band, a duo. The remaining finalists were:

• Oz Pearlman, mentalist
• Stevie Starr, The Professional Regurgitator
• Paul Zerdin, ventriloquist
