Blue Ridge Junior Classical League wins state awards

The Blue Ridge Junior Classical League placed third Saturday at the SCJCL 2013 Spring Forum. The group won 30 awards in the areas of written tests, art and handicrafts, and olympika.  

Titus Snyder placed first in both of the Roman history written tests. Brittany Hill won a number of art awards, including one in impromptu art.  

Each delegate was recognized with one or more awards. This is the Blue Ridge JCL’s second year of participation at the state level. 

Other delegates included Analys David, Kelsey Gosnell, Catherine Harvey, Abrianna Hill, Elizabeth McAbee, Shelby Pruitt, Allison Smith, Judson Snyder and Marc Western.
