The new manufacturing operation is expected to bring around $6 million in new capital investment and lead to the creation of at least 60 new jobs.
Brose is occupying 10 office spaces in Spartanburg Community College’s Center for Business and Entrepreneurial Development (CBED). The soft landing pad allows companies to build a core while they ramp up operations in South Carolina.
The company will produce door systems, as well as systems for on-demand control of cooling air supply for its automotive customers. Hiring for the new positions is ongoing, and interested applicants may apply on Brose’s career page at www.brose.com.
