Denny's is bringing back "Build Your Own Pancake" (BYOP) to its menu, offered for only four weeks.

Guests may build their pancake stack – two or three – with their choice of mix-ins and toppings. They are served with two eggs cooked to order, two bacon strips or two sausage links and a choice of either hash browns, seasoned red-skinned potatoes or grits. The special is $3.99.

Those who don't want to build their own pancakes may select one of these:

• Bananaberry Pancakes Breakfast

• Blueberry Muffin Pancakes Breakfast

• Peanut Butter Cup Pancakes Breakfast

• Red, White and Blue Pancakes Breakfast

• Sweet Pecana 'Nana Pancakes Breakfast

"When we introduced our our BYOP menu last year, guests of all ages had so much fun creating unique and customized dishes that we knew we had to bring back this family favorite for everyone to enjoy over the summer," said John Dillon, vice president of marketing for Denny's.

Three new dishes have been launched: Build Your Own Sampler, Prime Rib Cobb salad, or Sirloin Steak.
