Byrnes defeated Riverside on Senior Night, 63-42, in the Warriors final home game of the season. The game was played one night earlier because of the pending winter snowstorm that already cancelled Tuesday’s classes.
Riverside’s Myles Smith scored 10 points. Byrnes’ Syverio Joes and Jaylon Foster scored 15 and 10 points, respectively.
Riverside is 6-15 overall and 1-11 in Region II-4A. The Warriors plays its final game of the season Friday, weather pending, at Maudlin.
Byrnes is 13-9 overall and 8-5 in Region II-4A. The Rebels play Hillcrest Thursday and at Boiling Springs Friday in its final two regular season games.
