CPW alert: Be aware of potential phone scam
The Greer Commission of Public Works (Greer CPW) is alerting customers to a potential phone scam in the area.

Individuals are calling customers and demanding payment to avoid service interruption.

Greer CPW reports it will never call customers to ask for payment, and all late payment reminder calls are automated. Customers who receive calls demanding payment should hang up and contact local law enforcement and Greer CPW.

Greer CPW will never call customers to ask for identifying information such as social security numbers. Customers should never give personal or financial information out to unknown persons. Anyone with billing questions should call Greer CPW at 864-848-5500.
