'Decision Day' drop-ins help decision-making in medical crises

Medical crises can make a person too ill to make its own healthcare decisions.

That means times when a person is healthy are the best to make plans for the future. Those are the times it will allow individuals to have the medical care wanted when others are making decisions those decisions.

Greer Memorial Hospital will host “Decision Day” drop-ins Tuesday, 9 - 11 a.m., and Thursday, 1 - 3 p.m. Visitors can learn about advance care planning and get directive forms. The drop-ins will take place in the hospital’s lobby. Registration is not required.
