Dorman beats Greer in boys basketball game

Dorman defeated the Greer boys, 63-50, in a high school basketball game at Greer Thursday night.

Dorman outscored Greer 22-9 in the second quarter, after both teams matched 16 points in the first, fir a 35-28 halftime lead. Greer did outscore Dorman in the third and fourth quarter but it was enough to overcome the second quarter Cavalier blitz.

Magic Moody scored a game-high 21 points for Greer and teammate Sam Gravley added 12.

Coupled with Southside beating Greer, 64-54, earlier in the week, the Yellow Jackets are 2-2.

Moody scored a game-high 21 points for Greer with Andy Bryson and Sam Gravley added 12 and 11 respectively.
