The Eastside Family YMCA has opened registration for its 2015-2016 after school program that provides an active and learning environment for children.
Children are picked up from school, up to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday and transportation operates 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. on teacher workdays and most holidays.
The Eastside Family Y provides a healthy snack to each child and homework assistance. “The parents love picking up the children in the evening and they come home with their homework done,” Mary Pat Minor, Vice President Marketing, said.
Children can participate in arts and crafts, reading enrichment, service learning projects and other Christian based programming.
“This is a well-rounded after school program that gets the children moving in a safe environment with positive role models,” Lindsay Buckles, Development Specialist, said.
Registration is $20 a child or $35 per family for members and $35/child or $50/family for non-members. Weekly rates are $55 per child for member and $83 per child for a non-member.
