Ian Greer, 4, from Greer, is making progress after a TV fell on his head crushing his face in a Dec. 16 accident. A fundraiser is Saturday (Dec. 15) at 5 p.m. at Pizza Inn of Greer.
Ian suffered brain and skull injuries, broken jaw and eardrums when a television fell on his head in an accident on Dec. 16. He is rehabilitating at Rogers C. Peace Children’s Hospital.
Ian’s family reports he is making progress regaining normal body functions and is able to eat, drink and sit up on his own.
The family is reporting doctors say Ian should make a 90 percent recovery.
Ian was severely injured when he was climbing a dresser when the TV on top, reportedly weighing about 100 pounds, fell over onto his head, crushing his face.
