A Starry Night Gala is scheduled for Saturday Feb. 11 at Greer City Hall. The dinner, dance and auction will be a fundraiser for the Horace McKown Center and the Greer Cultural Arts Council.
Purchasing a ticket for $65 before Jan. 11 entitles the buyer to a free ticket to Hairspray plus an early bird ticket prize drawing worth $300. Tickets will be $75 after Feb. 1.
Ticket prices include dinner, open bar and entertainment. A sneak peek performance for Hairspray will be part of the night’s activities.
The McKown is undergoing a facelift and upfit at the Greer City Hall Complex. The $1.2 million project is scheduled for construction completed by late May.
A Black Box and dinner theatre, art, music and dance are among the events that will be featured at the McKown Center.
