Gas prices remaining stable for now

A gallon of regular unleaded gas in Greenville County is averaging $3.15 cents a today. But if you’re in Greer it may be worth your while to stop by four stations listed on Gas Buddy.com showing a $3.09 price per regular unleaded gallon.

BP at 2102 Old Spartanburg Road and Hudson Road; Hot Spot at 103 Hammet Bridge Road and S. Buncombe; Spinx at 3135 Brushy Creek and S. Suber Road; and Sunoco at 1321 S. Suber Road and Hammet Bridge Road are selling regular unleaded gas at $3.09.

The Citgo station at N. Hwy. 14 and East Gap Creek Road is the highest reported price in Greer at $3.26 for regular unleaded.

The average price, according to AAA Fuel Gauge Report, shows only a two cents decrease in the past week and a two percent increase in the past month.

The national average price for regular unleaded is 26 cents higher ($3.417) than Greenville County. The highest price in the state is $3.26 per gallon in Charleston.
