Gonzalez, Kahaleh selected ACE finalists for RMS

Stephanie Gonzalez and Antoine Kahaleh of Riverside Middle School were selected finalists for the ACE (Advocates for Character and Education) Award. The eighth graders were recognized for their hard work, positive choices despite adversity, leadership, and contributions in school and the community. 

Gonzalez and Kahaleh will represent Riverside Middle at a banquet May 23 at the KROC Center.  Other nominees were:  Megan Lamb, Lindsey Wise, Abigail Smith, Tim Cooper, and Dean Lage.

• The 3rd Annual iMove 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, April 13 beginning at 8 a.m.  Participant check-n is 8 – 8:30, a Zumba warm-up at 8:30, and the Run/Walk at 9 a.m. Proceeds benefit the Harvest Hope Food Bank (canned goods) and RMS.  Visit here for registration and event details. Registration is $15/person ($10/children 10 and under).

Upcoming dates:

• April 12: Ice Cream Sundaes sold during lunch in the cafeteria. $2.00

• April 15-19: Spirit Week

• April 26: Eighth Grade Dance in the school cafeteria 6-8 p.m.
