Greenville Tech students win SkillsUSA competition

Greenville Technical College students won first place honors from the state SkillsUSA competition, demonstrating the skills employers need in a variety of areas.  Winners are eligible to compete at the national level in Kansas City, June 23-27.

SkillsUSA competition demonstrates mastery of hands-on skills.

The first place winners with their skill are:

Dean Schaffer-Johnson, CNC (computer numerical control) Turning

Colin Crader, CNC Milling

Josh Goshorn, Precision Machining

Justin Ballenger, HVAC/R

Jared Milford, Collision Repair

Woody Riser, Automotive Refinish

Chris Boling, Welding Sculpture

Erik Dahl, Kyle DeKoning, Kriss Trott, Welding Team Fabrication
