Greer-area sailor working on guided missile destroyer gauges

Spec. 3rd Class Desmond Parks

Damage Controlman 3rd Class James Johnson, from Spartanburg, checks gauges for the low pressure air compressor aboard USS Laboon on Wednesday in Gaeta, Italy.

Laboon, an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer homeported in Norfolk, Va., is conducting naval operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe.
