Greer Heritage Museum announces March program
Dean Campbell, the Squire of the Dark Corner, will present “Twice-told Tales & Twice-sung Ballads of the Dark Corner” on Sat., March 3 at 1:30 PM at the Greer Heritage Museum on 106 S. Main St.
Since 2010 Campbell has been a contributor to the Tryon Daily Bulletin, producing columns that retell the tales of the Dark Corner, its mysteries and moonshine. He has also collected many old ballads of the region. His first book, published in 2013, included a CD with the ballads. Recently he completed a second volume. In his museum program he will tell tales and sing ballads from his book.
