Greer Middle College 1 of 3 finalists vying for $50,000

Greer Middle College Charter High School (GMC) has been nominated as one of three finalists for the Lowell Milken TAP Founder’s Award.  Total Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) participants consist of 500 schools in 26 states.

Laura Sawicki, GMC TAP Master Teacher, will represent the school at the March 19 conference in New Orleans. The winning school will be awarded $50,000.

"We are beyond thrilled to have our program recognized on such a national platform,” said Sawicki.  “Our facility works tirelessly to support and prepare our teachers and students to achieve excellence.  It’s exciting to see that our results are being noticed.”
