Greer Museum schedules eventful day Dec. 5

The Greer Heritage Museum has scheduled a full day of activity on Saturday, Dec. 5 featuring Miss Greater Greer Teen 2020 Kelsey Pranke in a photo opportunity and then entertaining guests with violin music.

The day’s events feature:

10 a.m. – conversation with people at the History and Donuts event who have played important roles in the history of Greer.

11:30 a.m. – girls of all ages are invited to dress up for a free photo opportunity with

12:30 p.m. – Lunch & Learn features the museum curator unveiling new artifacts and the history associated with them. Photographs and memorabilia from Greer’s first doctors, a baby picture of one of the most recognized businessmen and records from the original modernization of Greer will be unveiled. A boxed lunch is provided with this $20 event. Register at [email protected].

1:30 p.m. – Open house with Pranke entertaining with favorite songs and Christmas carols played on the violin.

Greer Heritage Museum is at 106 S. Main Street and hours are 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
