Officers with the Greer Police Department were dispatched to a robbery at approximately 8:45 a.m. Friday at the Dollar General at 903 South Suber Road in Greer.

A white male and black male entered the Dollar General and selected some merchandise and approached the register. When both males got to the register the white male walked to the front door and stood while the black male placed his hand in his pocket and demanded an employee to open the safe.

The employee refused to open the safe and the black male then demanded they open the register, which they did. The black male took an unknown amount of money from the register and fled the store on foot with the unknown white male.

Officers searched the surrounding area but were unable to locate the subjects. No one was hurt during this incident.

Dollar General provided officers with surveillance photos of both unknown subjects.

If anyone can help identify the unknown subjects we ask that they contact the Greer Police Department at (864) 848-2151.
