Applications are being accepted for the Greer State Bank Foundation that awards grants to community non-profit organizations.
More than $34,000 was awarded to community organizations in 2015. The foundation is funded through 100 percent participation from the bank’s employees and board of directors for the second straight year.
The foundation's mission is to award grants in the communities where the employees live and work.
The bank’s foundation board will consider requests from local charitable organizations.
