Greenville Technical Charter High School will be participating in its first school-wide community service day Friday.

Upperclassmen will be deployed into the community at the following locations at 12:15 Friday:

  • Hughes Main Library
  • Providence Care
  • Annie's House
  • Girl Scouts of SC
  • Harvest Hope
  • A Child's Haven
  • Greenville Historical Society
  • Foster Paws
  • Greenville Tech College
  • Child Development Center
  • Project Host
  • Phoenix Center
  • Sustaining Way

Some of the service projects include decorating doors for Valentine's Day at Shepard's Care, organizing the food pantry at Harvest Hope, and cleaning at Greenville County Animal Care

Freshmen will be staying on campus to pick up litter, clean classrooms, and beautify the school. Each year, GTCHS students provide more than 20,000 hours of community service.

The project gives students the opportunity to serve as a collective unit with community partners to provide an even greater impact on Greenville County.
