The annual Lake Robinson Day of Celebration went on as planned Saturday.

Cold temperatures and an overcast sky put a chill over Lake Robinson’s festivities but the event still maintained its luster with live music, bounce houses, wildlife exhibits and water and boating safety demonstrations.

The event was previously postponed because of rain.

Lake Robinson, along with Lake Cunningham, is the only two fresh water reservoirs in the area to provide drinking water.
