Hannon elected Furman captain

Reese Hannon threw for a Furman freshman record 1,896 yards and seven touchdowns.

Furman sophomore quarterback Reese Hannon was elected one of three captains for the Furman football season. He is the only underclassman elected by his teammates.

Seniors Dakota Dozier and Greg Worthy join Hannon.

Hannon played at Greer High School. As a freshman a year ago Hannon came off the bench in the season's second game and passed for 255 yards and four touchdowns against Coastal Carolina. He threw for a Furman freshman record 1,896 yards and seven touchdowns.
