The Upstate Heart Walk, with Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System the title sponsor, had a near-perfect day of weather and a high volume of teams and individuals participating at Greer City Park.

The heart walk is designed to promote physical activity and heart-healthy living.

About 90 teams with 4,000 registered from toddlers walked in their strollers, to some enjoying the spring morning for a good cause to those who survived heart attacks and strokes were testament of the programs available to promote a healthier and longer quality of life.
