Wanda Garcia presented a donation to Jessica Monroe's non-profit Saved by the Heart, an organization working with stray and abandoned animals, at Greer City Park Thursday.
Jessica Monroe, founder of the organization that helps find homes for the special need and behavior rehabilitated pets, received the donation.
Garcia has become a volunteer and has adopted rescue animals. The Vintage Christmas Market in Greer Dec. 3-5, organized by Garcia, will also donate a percentage of the proceeds to the non-profit.
