The Greer and Eastside girls first round of the state playoffs have been postponed until Tuesday at 7 p.m. Roads in Greenville County were reported becoming icy and the worse of freezing rain and sleet were scheduled for later Monday evening. Travelers Rest at Dreher is also rescheduled for Tuesday.
Feb. 14
The Greer and Eastside girls begin the first round of the state Class 3A basketball playoffs Monday, weather permitting.
Chapin plays at Greer and Richland Northeast is at Eastside. Both games are 7 p.m. Travelers Rest plays at Dreher at 6 p.m.
Monday's weather forecast, calling for sleet to a possibility of light snow make the games tenuous.
Boys playoffs begin Tuesday with Eastside traveling to Richland Northeast and Eastside is at Lower Richland. Both games begin at 7 p.m.
