Greer Idol and Idol Teen finals are next Friday. The voting conducting after the competiion will select this year's winners.
Greer Cultural Arts cancelled tonight’s performance of Rock and Roll Reunion and the Idol semifinals at 1 p.m. Officials said 4.5 inches of rain the past two days saturated the amphitheater.
Three Idol and five Idol Teen finalists will compete next Friday with $1,500 to the Idol winner and $500 to the Idol Teen champion.
Josh Jordan, Lauren Painter and Stephen Young are the Idol finalists. Taylor Lee, Keddy Mendoza, Sophia Noyes, Roni Teems and Devon White remain in Idol Teen.
All singers will be asked to perform three songs – singer’s choice, emcee choice and the same song.
The Carolina Coast Band, postponed earlier this year, will perform Tunes in the Park.
