Inland Port celebrates 5th anniversary with record growth

The Greer Inland Port celebrates its fifth anniversary with continued record rail lifts.

There were 8,890 rail moves in September raising the year-to-date total to 30,670.

Overall, the South Carolina Ports Authority (SCPA) reported a 7.5 percent fiscal year-over-year container volume growth of twenty foot-equivalent units (TEUs) through September.

* Barbara Melvin, was promoted as Senior Vice President of Operations and Terminals, to Chief Operating Officer effective Jan. 1, 2019.Melvin has been with the Port for 20 years serving as Senior Vice President of External Affairs, and Vice President of Government Relations.
