InvestSouth acquired Interim HealthCare
InvestSouth, LLC acquired Interim HealthCare, Inc., in a transaction of the Greenville companies effective Jan. 1.

Interim HealthCare and Hospice is a provider for individualized home care. The business provides a variety of services in home health, hospice and personal care across six upstate South Carolina counties.

The company’s name will evolve to become Interim Healthcare of the Upstate, reflecting the company’s geographic growth since its founding in 1979, while its local leadership will remain the same.

Charyl Schroeder will continue as CEO and member of the Board of Directors, and Ray Schroeder will serve as a consultant. According to Mike McBride, one of InvestSouth’s investors, “You could not hope to find higher quality people with whom to work on a transaction like this as we found in Ray and Charyl. We look forward to bringing additional resources and experience to help continue the legacy they created.”

“We believe that Interim HealthCare and Hospice has built their leadership position in the healthcare market by innovating, providing exceptional service and care, and maintaining strong relationships within the community they serve,” said InvestSouth Manager Chris Lupo. “We feel strongly in the value proposition of home health as the lowest-cost setting for providing many healthcare services and fulfilling people’s desires to be treated at home whenever possible. Having had a parent requiring personal care services and then Interim Hospice for the past year, I fully appreciate the need for these services and the difference it makes in peoples’ lives.”
