Walter's Pals will make an appearance at the free Kids Fest at the Bi-Lo store at 1365 W. Wade Hampton Blvd. Saturday, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
The Saturday forecast is for mostly cloudy skies with mild temperatures.
The forecast at the Bi-Lo store is fun for kids and families.
“This is a great chance to get the families together before Mother’s Day, for kids and families just to enjoy each other,” said Michelle Lisotto, spokesperson for Bi-Lo’s community events.
Children’s activities will include a Lowe’s woodworking workshop, Oreo stacking competitions and watermelon eating contests.
Two NASCAR show cars and a Greer Fire Truck will be on display. Face painting, popcorn, cotton candy and sno-cones will be made on site. Other vehicles with their products displayed will also be on display.
“This is one of the biggest parking lot events we have for Customer Appreciation Day,” Lisotto said. “It is just a way for our management team and leadership to give back to the community.”
