Jeffrey Lehne, a home-schooled senior, has been awarded the Foothills Scholarship by North Greenville University
He was chosen to receive the scholarship on the basis of his academic achievement, school, church, and community involvement.
Lehne interviewed and competed for the scholarship during Scholarship Interview Day at North Greenville University on Feb. 26.
With satisfactory academic progress, this scholarship will guarantee $48,000 over the course of four years of attendance at North Greenville University.
Lehne has been accepted into the Class of 2020 and plans to enroll in August. He is the son of William and Kristine Lehne of Greer.
