McCleer, who has participated in Greer Idol the past two years, performed to songs she wrote, including one for her father while he served in Afghanistan last summer. She finished third in Greer Teen Idol.
Saturday’s competition begins at 5 p.m. with three separate competitions divided by age, youth up to age 17.
