Connor Merrell, Greer senior center, is the Greer Football Student-Athlete of the Week for his play in the 56-17 victory over Travelers Rest.
“Connor has played extremely well against everybody this year,” Greer Head Coach Will Young, said. “He’s a first-year starter and calls all the protection up front. He’s also a good student.”
Merrell is a senior and has impressed Young during workouts, too. “Connor does well in practice. It all adds up and he has gotten bigger the past two years.”
