Members of Leaders in Action who made the presentation to the Middle Tyger Community Center were in alphabetical order: Sarah Belue, Don Broadhurst, Rob DeHollander, Rebecca Ferguson, Dee Gabriel, Justin Miller, Cindy Simpler, Lyn Turner and Brenda Verdone.
The Leaders in Action project, under the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce, has targeted five non-profits for donations.
MTCC offers support to the community through programs and services. One of the primary projects is the Family Literacy Program which offers services to children and families in a comprehensive, integrated, service delivery model.
In addition to the Family Literacy Program, MTCC offers counseling services, adolescent pregnancy prevention programs, comprehensive programs for pregnant and parenting adolescents and their babies, health education and awareness, and crisis intervention and case management.
