North Greenville University upset top-seeded Limestone College women’s basketball team, 57-56, in the Conference Carolinas quarterfinals on Monday.
NGU, 8-20 and seeded eighth, stunned Limestone, 23-5, at Limestone Timken Gymnasium. It was Limestone’s first home loss this season.
Bree Stoddard scored 11 points and Bailey Breazeale added 10 points.
NGU’s bench contributed 32 points in the win.
NGU plays No. 4 seed King College Thursday at 7:30 p.m. King beat No. 5 Mount Olive, 85-75.
