Wayne LeQuire, age 68, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday August 7, 2024.
He was born on December 12th, 1955, in Greer, SC to the late Lucille Williams LeQuire.
Wayne's greatest joy was being a dad and grandpa. He delighted in telling everyone about his two daughters and five grandchildren. He took immense pride in his family and along with sharing stories, he displayed countless photos throughout his home.
Wayne worked as a pipefitter for numerous companies in Georgia and South Carolina. His love for sports was evident to all who knew him. He enjoyed watching and talking about all sports, and always looked forward to college football and NASCARS's racing season. He was a big University of Georgia fan since his daughter is a UGA graduate, and his oldest grandchild is a student at UGA's Veterinary School.
Along with sports, Wayne also enjoyed doing yard work and spent lots of time outside landscaping and planting a garden, and often helped his neighbors with their yard work.
