Alfred James "A.J." Brown, 88, passed away February 27, 2022.

A native of Greer, he was the son of the late Luther C. and Mary Elizabeth Forrester Brown, he was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a retired machinist.

Surviving:

Surviving is his wife, Helen Alitha Holtzclaw Brown of the home; two daughters, Sharon Green (Tony) of Greer and Sheila Gillespie (Derral) of Taylors; a sister, Maythol Towery of Greer; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services:

A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022, at Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

The family would like to give special thanks to his grandson Chad for his loving care of Mr. Brown during his recent decline in health.
