Altha Lawson Redding, 85, widow of James Miller Redding, passed away July 22, 2018.

A native of Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late Algie and Beatrice Brewington Lawson, a former waitress at Sky City and member of Apalache Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are two brothers, Buddy Lawson (Clara) and Carroll Lawson, both of Greer.

She was also predeceased by four sisters, Corene Weathers, Sue Mulligan, Alice Knight and Helen Richards.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, July 23, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Jim Carpenter.

Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

Visitation will be held 2:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
