Althea Duncan Edwards, 80, widow of James E. Edwards, passed away November 12, 2017.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Walker E. and Necie Gosnell Duncan, she was a retired employee of B&B Auto and a member of Duncan Chapel.

Surviving:

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Dewayne and Cindy Edwards of Campobello; two brothers, Walker Duncan, Jr. and John L. Duncan both of Greer; three sisters, Mildred Pitts, Obina "Minnie" Reeves and Lora Price all of Greer; two grandchildren, Darin Edwards (Hannah) and Jennifer Subrizi; and three great-grandchildren, Megan Walia, Addisyn Edwards and Ansley Edwards.

Mrs. Edwards was predeceased by one brother, Jessie W. Duncan.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 16, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. John Langston Duncan and Rev. Vince Gainey.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home of her son, Dewayne Edwards, 5425 Jug Factory Road, Campobello, SC 29322.
