Annie Laurie Breazeale Fleming, 91, of Greer, went home to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, September 20, 2019, where she joined her beloved husband of 49 years, James Carroll Fleming, Sr.

She was born May 8, 1928, to the late Eugene Wideman Breazeale and Mamie Hembree Breazeale McCarter.

She had a generous heart and was a gifted seamstress, baker, and gardener. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church for 60 years.

She would want anyone reading this to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believe He died on the cross, shed His blood to atone for our sins, was buried and rose from the dead three days later.

Because she believed, her family knows they will see her again one day.

Surviving:

She is survived by her four children, Linda Fleming Ott (Harry) of St. Matthews, Cathey Fleming of Greer, Betty Fleming Miller (Don) of Greer, and James Carroll Fleming Jr. (Lisa) of Taylors; nine grandchildren, Russell Ott, Kevin Ott (Claire), Brent Gowan, Jennifer Miller Ellis (Matthew), Julia Miller Troxell (Chris), Kyle Fleming (Shannon), Cody Fleming, Pierce Fleming, Halle Fleming; fourteen great-grandchildren, Lawson and Bryce Ott, Loren Legrand, Harriet, and Elizabeth Ott; Hannah, Avah, and Noah Gowan; Sydney Gowan; Hudson Ellis; Christopher Troxell Jr., Elizabeth, Elijah, and Enora Fleming; sister-in-law, Evelyn Breazeale (David); and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her brothers, David William Breazeale of Travelers Rest and Charles Palmer McCarter of Travelers Rest, and grandson Heath Gowan.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held on September 22, 2019, at Fairview Baptist Church at 3:00 p.m.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00-2:45 p.m. at the church with interment in Fairview Baptist Cemetery.

Honored to be pallbearers will be grandsons Russell Ott, Kevin Ott, Brent Gowan, Matthew Ellis, Christopher Troxell Sr., Kyle Fleming, Cody Fleming, and Pierce Fleming.
