Armando Laserna, 81, passed away October 12, 2018.

A native of Bogota, Colombia, South America; a son of the late Agustin and Gabriela Jaramillo Laserna; he was a U.S. Army Veteran and a graduate of Baptist College of Charleston.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Barbara Schirmer Laserna of the home; three sons, David Armando Laserna (Marilyn) of Meggett, William Laserna (Susan) of Simpsonville and John Charles Laserna (Stephanie) of Greer; one daughter, Maria Victoria Kirby (Michael) of Monks Corner; two brothers, Enrique Laserna and Roberto Laserna; five sisters, Maria Virginia Laserna, Clara Rojas, Martha Helena Seibel, Piedad Lanzianno and Esperanza Laserna, all of Colombia, South America; and eight grandchildren, Brandon, Ashtyn, English, Reagan, Gabrielle, Adalynn, Austin and Kelsey.

Funeral Services:

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 14, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary.

The family will be at the home.
