Benjamin Franklin "Ben" Cox, Jr., 89, died September 21, 2015 at his home.

A native of Spartanburg County, son of the late Benjamin F. Cox, Sr. and Jessie Christopher Cox, he was a retired employee of Daniel Construction Company, a U.S. Coast Guard WWII Veteran and a member of Victorian Hills Community Church.

He was a 50-year life member of Reidville Masonic Lodge #102, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and a member of Hejaz Shrine Temple.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, June Leonard Cox of the home; one son, Franklin M. Cox (Vicki) of Greer; one brother, Maurice A. Cox of Easley; two grandchildren, Maleah Cobb (Bobby) and Derek Cox (Angie) and six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Cox was predeceased by two sons, Ronald E. Cox and Christopher B. Cox and one brother, Sydney L. Cox.

Funeral Services:

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Wood Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Roger Greene with Masonic Rites.

Visitation will be held after the service at the gravesite.

The family is at the home.
