Betty Duncan Groom, beloved wife, mother, and Granna, unexpectedly went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 67 on Monday, April 16, 2018.

A native of Columbus, Ohio, she was a daughter of the late Ralph Curtis and Florence Eberhard Duncan, a retired receptionist at Taylors First Baptist Church, and a member of Taylors First Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are her husband of 47 years, Russell Hugh Groom; two sons, Jeremy Groom (Diana) of Florence and Jonathan Groom (Cassady) of Simpsonville; one daughter, Jennifer Wagner (David) of Greensboro, North Carolina, and seven grandchildren.

Funeral Services:

Visitation will be held from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, 2018, at the Welcome Center at Taylors First Baptist Church, immediately followed by services in the sanctuary at 3 p.m.

Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
